Hillary

Well folks, we all knew it was coming, didn't we?  Has there ever been a time in the last 26 years since Bubba and Ma Clinton burst on the scene that they weren't above it all?  The population is a bit like Charley Brown kicking the football and whoever is assigned to hold the Clinton's accountable is Lucy holding the football.  We think it's going to be different this time.  But it never is...

So let's do a quick review of the bidding at the top level, shall we?

We know that when Hillary was SecState she used numerous personal servers to hold both personal and official email.

We know that when asked to produce emails for a judicial review she deleted around 30,000 emails.

We know that upon investigation she had numerous instances of not one but several Special Access Programs (SAP) material on one or more personal servers.  The FBI Director said she sent and received classified emails several times.

We know that she claimed that she never sent nor received a classified email.

We know that her IT Director took the 5th when interviewed.

We know that the State Dept slow rolled and denied several attempts to uncover information.

The FBI Director made a very strong case this morning that laws were broken.  He said that she should have known better.

And then he said that the FBI would recommend no prosecution.

So now let us look at what has happened in the last week or so.

Bubba met with the Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, in her airplane on the tarmac in Phoenix.  No one knows what was said.

Hillary met with the FBI for 3 hours on Saturday.

Obama committed to his first campaign appearance today knowing that the FBI Director would hold a press conference to tell of his recommendation to the AG today before that appearance.

There is a strong rumor that Hillary will keep Lynch on as AG.

The FBI Director came out, made a statement, and took no questions.

Now...some people believe in coincidences.  I can even be persuaded to believe in coincidences.  But in the case of Hillary, this is just too much.

But many people, myself included, thought she'd never be indicted.  The Democrats just weren't going to let that happen.  But I did think they'd be more subtle.  To have the FBI Director lay out a strong case for prosecution for 14 minutes and then say there would be no indictment is just not credible.  It also is an afront to our laws.

But for me, here's the worst thing.  If I or anyone I know would have done what she did, I'd be prosecuted and likely be paying a huge fine and spending some time in an orange jumpsuit.  It's as simple as that.  I know and have heard of way too many people who have done far, far less and have had their careers ruined.  If the law doesn't apply to everyone, then it applies to no one.

And one last thing.  Based on what she has done, at a minimum, she should administratively lose her security clearance.   No question about that.  But I guess that she doesn't have to worry about that.

Man, if this doesn't drive a lot of people to Trump, I don't know what will.
