Interesting World Statistics

A benefit of going to Hilton Head, SC for vacation every year is the family reunion, the biking, swimming, golfing, laughing, walking, etc.  Loads of fun!  But sometimes it rains.  I mean buckets of rain!!  So when that happens we play games, sit around and talk, and just generally chill.  And that gives me a chance to do a little surfing for some interesting things to share.

And that brings me to sharing this weird little site that provides some surprisingly interesting world maps.  You can check it out here.  I think most are pretty interesting but I like this one the best.  Think about what this says about the impact in the shift in population density will have on all our lives...

Here's another one that is pretty interesting.  There is an old saying that the sun never sets on the British Empire.  This map depicts all the places Britain has invaded in their history.  Now you know where that came from.  Of course...not the same anymore.
