So the House Judiciary Committee opened today with four lawyers to testify on the Constitutional implications of the whole Trump-Ukraine mess. Three rabid Dems and one mollified Republican gave their OPINIONS about what we've been inundated with for the last several months. Since I watched a fair share of the Intelligence Committee hearings I thought I'd check this out. I didn't last long. It was bad, real bad! Had to turn it off. The little I heard was so very predictable. The Dems absolutely, no doubt about it believe the President should be impeached and removed. The Republican was more circumspect and warned against responding to how the wind blows without evidence. But he was drowned out by the media. This will be heavily used to the advantage of those who have already made up their minds. As far as I can see, for a significant chunk of the population who are skeptical of this whole thing, their testimony will serve to further besmirch the legal profession. But maybe they don't care.
