During the last few days I've heard two things that scare me to death. If the Dems really believe these things, then they have lost their way. I probably won't get the quotes exactly right, but it's approximately right.
Senator Schumer in some of his remarks said some like "if Trump is innocent, then he had every opportunity to prove it." Here's a newsflash for the minority leader, in the U.S. we are all innocent until proven guilty. The burden of proof is always on the accuser.
Rep Schiff said that we can't let the fate of Trump be left to the voters. If electing our leaders isn't fundamental to the country I don't know what is.
I know that both of these guys have TDS real bad, but this is scary.
